The coveted Game Jam competition returns to Decentraland this year. Participants at this event will have the chance to win prizes by demonstrating their skills in creating games for the Metaverse platform. Meta Game Hub Dao (MGH), a major developer in the Metaverse, is a new partnership. DCL and MGH are partnering to challenge the most talented developers and gamers in the virtual world.
Currently, developers must use all tools available to create realistic games. Using the DCL Edit application developed by MGH, developers will be able to create fully immersive experiences.
Prizes, Limitations & Rules of the Contest
There will be two blocks of prizes. To begin, Decentraland will award prizes ranging from 500 MANA for 11th-20th place to 2 LAND + 5000 MANA for 1st place. Alternatively, MetaGameHub will award the second prize, ranging from $250 in MGH tokens for 11th-20th place to $5,000 in MGH tokens for first place. There are three basic rules for participants: You must have a maximum size of 4×4 plots, you do not have to own a LAND, and the scenes must be interactive.
